Charmed by the idea of a slower pace of life for their young family, my clients relocated from the city to this coastal island in 2022. Surrounded by trees and a spacious backyard complete with a pond, orchard, and raised beds, this home became the quintessential spot to raise their family for years to come.

However, the house hadn't been updated since it was built in 2003, and my clients had dramatic improvements in mind. We reconfigured the kitchen to better connect with the living area, carved out a mudroom and pantry storage area, added a stone-clad fireplace appropriate for the Cape Code-style house, and added custom millwork throughout.
