The homeowners of this mid-century split level had been in the house since 2012. They had made cosmetic changes over the years, but the time had finally come to make dramatic changes to better match their aesthetic and love of hosting and entertaining.

We did away with the dark, dated cabinetry and elaborate millwork, and brought in function and a whole lot of fun. Our clients wanted to eschew safe design choices and create a memorable, wow-worthy home for entertaining guests that includes a custom bar wrapped in olive burlwood, an accessible pantry with usable counter space, a redesigned fireplace, and a moody basement room designed for cozy movie nights.
