Character Driven Bathroom Renovations

The goals of this renovation were simple: since the house was built in 1990, it was missing the character you’d find in a hundred-year-old farmhouse. We needed to infuse it with personality, but in an eclectic way to match the homeowner’s aesthetic — a mix of old and new, funky and unexpected, with an appreciation for details and touches that tell a bigger story. The designs stretched from soft and airy to dark and moody, using rich textures and striking finishes throughout all of it.

“First and foremost, Amy is a great listener. I was initially leery of using a designer, because I was so determined to have the place feel like me. I had a lot of ideas about how I wanted the spaces to feel and look, but was feeling overwhelmed and not particularly creative at the moment. Amy took all of my ideas and stories and turned them into real design plans that felt like me, only better! She is the designer that clients, contractors and architects all love to work with because, in addition to her creativity, she is extremely knowledgeable, detail oriented and organized. Working with Amy was a dream and I absolutely intend to hire her again for my next project.
